I CANNOT BELIEVE IT.
My almost-3-year-old son would soon be going to school this coming semester. How time flies so fast!
Like the rest of the moms who want the best for their child, I am over-excited about him joining the “big league”. I was scouting, searching, and buying the books that are needed to prepare him for school. Of course, I won’t pressure him to literally READ the book, but one can hope, right? haha
And I also have to shop for his clothes, which is not easy. He is a boy and I really have not much to choose from. Good thing I have learned something from this so I know the “priority clothes”. hehe. And yes, i may have the tendencies to splurge for my one and only kid.
Some of his school items can be purchased from the faculty room, which makes my tasks easier. For the rest, I need to see my checklist from time to time.
Now, all I need is a chinese name in Mandarin characters. Any suggestion please?

Hubby does not like crab because it is so tedious to eat one. So, I filleted them, sauteed and put some carrots and seasoned with salt, pepper and vinegar. Then I stuffed it in, put mozzarella cheese and baked for 3-5 minutes.
Voila! I had dinner ready for hubby who asked for seconds.

Last Saturday, after visiting our friend in this hospital to welcome the newest addition to her family, we went to the parking lot obviously to leave the premises of the hospital. We were aghast to see that there was a car blocking off our way.
Our vehicle was horizontally parked at the end of the lot while the other car was parked vertically totally obstructing us from getting away. The driver not only failed to leave any of his contact number, he also put on the hand brake.
Even after thirty minutes of constant paging, the driver did not show up. Crashing the car and leaving it behind was very tempting. Good thing that the situation was an opportunity to practice patience.
Anyway, thank God that there were good macho souls who did the Mentos commercial. They carried the car to let us pass through, and carried it back.

I have to blog about it so I won’t be able to forget the incident ^_^

Do you know the feeling when you can sense that something good is going to happen? You’re excited but you don’t know why?
That’s how I am tonight.

We attended the baptismal reception of Regina Victoria last Sunday. While eating our lunch, Bubble Boy entertained our tablemates with his cool, cool trick which he saw from Yo Gabba Gabba.

This year is different.
In more than two decades, we have commemorated The Freedom Day (otherwise called as EDSA 1) as a non-working holiday. We never ever changed the date of the celebration. We rejoiced and remembered the day we were freed from dictatorship on the very day that the then President left Manila.
And it was the very reason why I we chose that day to present our vows before God and mankind, and to any and all kind of governments. Because every year that we celebrate our anniversary, we are free to be together without filling out leave forms.
But now, we are again in bondage. We have been shackled by this global financial crisis, which led to a heart-breaking decision for our industry to survive. Companies need their people working. People need to work to keep on earning. And work should be valued to keep the economy surviving. And no, we are not going to ink those forms, but be a good ant to save for rainy days.
